New Homes in Pooler
Established in 1838, Pooler was a train stop during the Civil War and served as a camp for Gen. Sherman before he moved into Savannah. Post-Civil War, free lots were given to builders for new homes and neighborhoods were established. After the turn of the 20th Century, Pooler was incorporated and the town began to flourish. Today, the area abounds with banks, retail establishments, schools, churches and new home communities and is the center for commercial development in West Chatham County.
