1st American Named Builder of the Year
RALEIGH, NC – 1st American Builders, a division of the Mungo Companies, the Carolina’s largest family-owned home builder is proud to announce the
company’s recent recognition as Builder of the Year at the 2008 Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence (MAME) awards. Judged by the total number
of homes closed during the previous year, 1st American won the award for builders closing 26 to 100 homes during 2007.
The MAME Awards bring together the real estate industry’s best and brightest to recognize those who are providing the preeminent solutions and
work in the home building industry. The awards are held annually by the Triangle Sales and Marketing Council of North Carolina with support from the
Raleigh-Wake County Home Builders Association. This year’s event honored outstanding achievements made in the industry during 2007.
“It is an honor to be named Builder of the Year,” said Geoff Shiley chief operating officer for 1st American. “Our team has done
an outstanding job this past year and this recognition exemplifies the effort and commitment we provide to each of our homeowners. I am extremely proud of our team.”
Over the last several years the company has twice been named to the Triangle Business Journal’s Fastest 50 growing businesses
as well as chosen as on of the publication’s Best Places To Work.
