Steven Mungo Elected to HBASC Board

Steven Mungo has been elected to serve as vice president of the
Home Builders Association of
South Carolina. Mungo previously served on the HBA of SC executive committee
as treasurer and will officially assume the role as vice president in February.
“We are honored to have Steven serve in an executive position with our
association,” said Mark Nix, executive officer of the Home Builders Association of
South Carolina. “Steve has an outstanding community record and his company
continues to be a national leader in the industry.”
Mungo has a rich history in the homebuilding industry. He has been actively
involved with new-home construction for several decades, and participates in
many civic boards and philanthropic committees. As a member of the executive
committee, Mungo will be dedicated to conducting the affairs of the
Association in accordance with the Bylaws and policies of the Board of
Directors. Members of the executive committee are elected annually.
“The level of professionalism and dedication to the homebuilding
industry by the HBA of South Carolina is something that I am proud to be
a part of,” stated Steven Mungo, president of the Mungo Companies. “I am
excited to continue my services to the HBA in the role of vice president,
and I look forward to growing the organization as we meet the demands
