New Home Owners Gather at Lakeport
« Back to all news
Sovereign Homes recently hosted an
event for new homeowners at the Lakeport
community off Johnson Marina Road in Chapin. Held at the
carriage home designer model, about 50 folks turned out for cocktails,
appetizers and a chance to meet their new neighbors. Some are
already living in the carriage homes while others are currently
building in the executive section.
Principal Stewart Mungo was on hand, along with Sovereign Homes’
project managers, Scott Martin and John Ryall, who enjoyed catching
up with home owners whose homes they have built. Allyson Way Hank,
president of Sovereign Homes, said, “It’s great to stay in touch with
home owners long after closing. You never know when their housing
needs might change and if you stay in touch, they automatically think
of your first.”
The best story of the evening came from Will Rorie and Candy Ward
(pictured) who were recently engaged on their home site at Lakeport!
New carriage homes at Lakeport start in the high $200s, while executive
home sites range from $65,000 for an interior lot to $400,000 for
lakefront. Lakeport is an easy drive to downtown Columbia.
