Columbia Home Prices Steady

In a recent article by The State newspaper, home prices in Columbia remain steady. Based on a report from Zillow.com, a Web site that tracks real estate statistics nationwide, Columbia is one of 21 markets that had either some appreciation or less than 1 percent decline in median home prices. Columbia’s 10 zip codes saw a 4.7 percent increase, while the whole of Richland County saw an increase of 5.1 percent.

Nationwide, home prices fell 11.6 percent.
