The stars are aligned to buy a new home now

While it may appear that prices will continue to decline, the National Association of Home Builders
reported a 9.7 percent increase in new home sales in the South in February. For those with good
credit and job security, the stars are all aligned to buy a home at this time.
A recent issue of Smart Money magazine reported that both Columbia and Raleigh on are the list of
the top 25 markets poised to rebound quickly. In April, Builder magazine reported that Myrtle Beach
and Raleigh are on a list of the top 15 Healthiest Housing Markets for 2009.
With new home sales increasing, builders are not likely to make any additional cuts to already
attractive listing prices for new homes, making now the time to move.
