Lyden Village Honors Fallen OfficersNovember 20, 2023

Mungo Homes held a dedication ceremony for Lyden Village on November 8, 2023. Lyden Village is named in honor of Corporal Dennis James Lyden, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who lost his life while on duty with the Horry County Police Department. Within Lyden Village is Parker Court, named after Christopher Parker, the Officer who captured Dennis Lyden's assailant across the street from the community. We also remember fallen Myrtle Beach Police Officers Jacob William Hatcher and Joseph John McGarry. Mungo Homes is privileged to have the names and legacies of these brave individuals live on at Lyden Village.
