Much-anticipated Amenity Opens at Sweetbrier in DurhamJuly 29, 2025

Raleigh Team Members recently gathered to cut the ribbon on the opening of the much-anticipated amenity at Sweetbrier in Durham. The largest amenity space ever built in our Raleigh Division, the $4.2M project includes a clubhouse with kitchen, fitness center, great room with fireplace, and conference room; a pool with lazy river; great lawn with athletic turf, firepit, and misting station; a ninja warrior playground, and dog park.

According to Land Planning Manager, Vicky Hartshorn who, along with amenity Project Manager, Bryan Jacobs, is responsible for the visioning of the project, “This is a place meant to bring people together, to reflect the character of Durham, and to celebrate everything that makes this city so special.”

The design is inspired by the history, resilience, and character of Durham with many touches a nod to the story of “Bull City.” Get more information on Sweetbrier.
