Rebuilding Pelicans SnoballsJuly 31, 2020

This summer we were pleased to work with several of our partners to rebuild a beloved Irmo landmark: Pelicans Snoballs. A staple in the Irmo/Ballentine, SC community, Pelicans is a popular "pit stop" for both kids and adults, and they are a highlight of many Mungo community events. In May, Pelicans was robbed and burned. Mungo team members along with the help of more than a dozen of our trade partners decided there’s not a “SNOBALL’S” chance we could let Pelican’s stay down for long! Owners (and sisters) Merewynn Summers and AC Greene reported that they were “in shock” when they got the call that Mungo wanted to help and just started crying.
