Richmond Team Commemorates 9/11September 12, 2025

On September 11th, Richmond Team Members participated in the Hanover County Day of Service by building picnic tables to be placed at community parks. According to JB Foster, Richmond's Mungo Homes Foundation representative, "It's important to do something meaningful to commemorate this date in history and what it represents for our country. Working together as a team to create something tangible by supporting our local parks and recreation programs was a great way to reflect."

Each year on Sept. 11, Americans across the country step forward to serve in honor of those lost and the heroes who responded. Hanover County, VA is proud to partner with local nonprofits offering meaningful ways for County employees and community members to give back and make a difference.
