Fun word huh? No, we are not a cool animal found in Australia, or the newest TikTok dance. We are Mungo Homes, and you may have already heard of us.

What started as a small privately-owned development and home building company in Columbia, South Carolina in 1954, has grown into a large, billion-dollar home building operation with a multi-state footprint. From Georgia to Virginia, Mungo Homes has built almost 40,000 new construction homes in communities throughout the southeast and has countless happy homeowners.

Mungo Homes has been building in Richmond for several years now and we're proud to introduce townhomes and single-family homes that are more attainable than most in the area. We currently have 14 communities in the greater Richmond, VA area ranging from mid $200s to high $800s.
