Community Builder: ‘Tree with a Testimony’ helps women battling addiction

December 10, 2019

Meet Pastor Lucky Detty, our latest Community Builder! Pastor Lucky, with Reconciliation Ministries, with the help of his congregation, recently opened the Nixon Home, aimed at helping women battling drug and alcohol addiction. A storm caused a tree to fall on a home last spring near St. Andrews Rd but instead of letting it sit empty, Detty saw an opportunity to help those in need. With the help of Celtic Works, Inc., Detty and his congregation were able to restore the house which now has the capacity to hold seven residents plus staff.

Our builder - was AMAZING! He kept us up to date and sent photos of the construction process. He answered all of our emails very quickly and never made us feel like we were an annoyance. I would try and steal him if I owned a construction company!
