Mungo Homes Adds Two Pivotal PositionsOctober 14, 2021

Charleston, SC. Mungo Homes is pleased to announce the addition of two new Team Members to their growing team in the Charleston Division: Bob Pickard has joined the team as the Land Acquisitions Manager; and Shawn Cantey has been named the Sr. Land Development Project Manager.

Mr. Pickard brings over 15 years of experience to Mungo Homes, previously holding positions as Vice President and Director of Land Acquisition and Development with both national and regional builders in the Southeast. He received his master’s degree from the University of South Carolina, and in his new position, Pickard will be reviewing, appraising and acquiring property for the development and construction of new homes to meet the goals of Mungo Homes.

Mr. Cantey received an associate degree in civil engineering technology from Trident Technical College and a bachelor’s degree from the Citadel in civil engineering. He has 23 years of experience in this industry, most recently as a Land Development Manager for Meritage Homes in Greenville, South Carolina, and as the Residential Engineering Division Head of Earthsource Engineering in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He will be responsible for land entitlement and development to ensure timely development of properties and compliance with market standards.

With these two positions filled, Mungo Homes will be able to continue expanding its operations by acquiring new land for development and working tirelessly to create beautiful homes in a timely manner.
