We are proud to announce the Mungo Homes Foundation 4th annual Week of Service from May 5-9. Week of Service takes place across all 10 markets where Mungo Homes builds, and team members use company-allotted hours to roll up their sleeves and volunteer with various nonprofits and organizations selected by each local Mungo Homes Foundation Board of Advisors. Mungo Homes has a longstanding commitment to giving back to local communities, underscored by the Foundation’s mission, “To serve so that others are empowered to thrive.” This year, hands-on volunteer efforts will benefit more than 30 organizations across Mungo Homes’ footprint.

Last year, 75% of Mungo team members participated in Week of Service, using a total of 2,760 company-allotted paid volunteer hours to benefit 23 organizations. Activities included building wheelchair ramps, renovating a children's home, constructing a bus stop shelter, and assisting with animal care and meal services. In 2023, team members used 1,924 paid hours to volunteer with 16 local organizations. The continued increase in participation demonstrates how Week of Service grows its impact each year, engaging more team members and community organizations. The Mungo Homes Foundation also hosts a Week of Giving during the holiday season, further emphasizing the company’s commitment to giving back.
