Mungo Homes Foundation Kicks Off Second Annual Michael's House ProjectSeptember 1, 2026

The Mungo Homes Foundation kicked off its Second Annual Michael's House project this week with a celebratory lunch for trade partners. Trade partners and team members heard from Mungo and McGuinn leadership and learned more about the mission of Homes for HOPE, the charity partner for this year's build.

The 2026 Michael's House is located in Canary Woods in Hopkins, SC, and will break ground later this month. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Homes for HOPE's mission to fight global poverty through micro-enterprise development, including discipleship, business training, and offering safe places to save.

The name "Michael's House" honors the memory and legacy of company founder, the late Michael J. Mungo. Mr. Mungo worked quietly and tirelessly throughout his life to ensure that those less fortunate were afforded life's basic needs: food, shelter, and healthcare. The inaugural Michael's House raised $250,000 for Homeless No More and United Way of the Midlands in 2025.
